Description

Smoky, creamy, and satisfying—this One-Pot Smoky Honey BBQ Steak Pasta is the perfect weeknight comfort dish that comes together in one pot with bold BBQ flavor and minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb steak, sliced into strips

12 oz penne or rotini pasta

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup smoky BBQ sauce

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/2 cup sliced green peppers

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro or parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil or butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add steak strips, seasoning with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, about 3–4 minutes.

2. Remove steak and set aside. Pour in beef broth, heavy cream, BBQ sauce, and pasta.

3. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Stir in cheddar cheese and green peppers. Return steak to pot.

5. Mix until the sauce is creamy and the cheese is melted. Let rest 2–3 minutes.

6. Serve hot with chopped parsley or cilantro if desired.

Notes

You can swap steak for chicken or use a spicier BBQ sauce for more heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
