Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium-sized peaches (quartered and pitted; canned peaches optional)
  • 8-ounce pack of Pillsbury crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup Fresca citrus soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and spray an 8×8 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Lay out the crescent dough on a clean surface and cut into 8 triangles.
  3. Place a peach slice at the narrow end of each triangle and wrap securely around the peach, sealing the edges.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter, then mix in both sugars and cinnamon until smooth.
  5. Pour the buttery mixture evenly over the dumplings in the baking dish.
  6. Carefully add Fresca around (not over) the dumplings.
  7. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until golden brown and fork-tender.
  8. Let cool for about 10 minutes before serving warm with optional vanilla ice cream.
