  • 12 ounces cheese tortellini
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot and cook the tortellini according to the package instructions (3-5 minutes for fresh; 8-10 minutes for frozen). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the diced chicken seasoned with salt and pepper until golden brown (5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about one minute. Add heavy cream and chicken broth; simmer for 2-3 minutes before stirring in grated Parmesan until melted.
  4. Add the cooked chicken, broccoli florets, and drained tortellini to the skillet. Toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
  5. Adjust seasoning as necessary; serve garnished with fresh parsley.
