  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and rice until well mixed.
  3. Pour the rice mixture into the prepared pan and evenly place chicken breasts on top.
  4. Sprinkle onion soup mix over the chicken for added flavor.
  5. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. For extra flavor, uncover during the last 10 minutes of baking and top with shredded cheese if desired.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
