Ingredients

  • 5-pound pork shoulder roast
  • 2 large sweet onions (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons McCormick Grill Mates Roasted Garlic & Herb Seasoning Mix
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Grease a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray and layer sliced onions at the bottom.
  2. Pat the pork roast dry and rub it generously with the seasoning mix and salt.
  3. Place the seasoned pork on top of the onions and pour chicken broth around (not over) the roast.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 6-7 hours or LOW for 9-10 hours until easily shredded with a fork.
  5. Let rest for 10 minutes before shredding.
