Crockpot Pineapple BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks, drained (reserve juice)
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup barbecue sauce
¼ cup brown sugar

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce:
In a bowl, combine the reserved pineapple juice, soy sauce, barbecue sauce, and brown sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and everything is well mixed.
Add Chicken to Crockpot:
Place 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs) into the bottom of your crockpot.
Add Pineapple & Sauce:
Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, then top with the drained pineapple chunks.
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Shred Chicken (Optional):
For a pulled chicken texture, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it into the sauce.
Serve & Enjoy:
