Creamy Sausage Rigatoni is a comforting, one-pan meal that brings restaurant-quality flavor to your kitchen in just 30 minutes. This dish features tender rigatoni pasta enveloped in a rich and creamy tomato sauce, perfectly complemented by savory Italian sausage and fresh spinach.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 15 oz Italian sausage, crumbled
  • 8 oz rigatoni, uncooked
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 5 oz fresh spinach
  • Salt and coarsely ground black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and cook the crumbled sausage until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in rigatoni, chicken broth, heavy cream, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and tomato sauce. Mix well.
  3. Bring to a boil; cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until pasta is al dente, stirring frequently.
  4. Add the fresh spinach and stir until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving hot.
