Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (24cm/10-inch square)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of the cinnamon sugar mixture on one side. Roll gently to press it in, then flip and repeat.
  3. Fold both long edges toward the center and roll slightly to flatten.
  4. Sprinkle half of the remaining cinnamon sugar over the folds and roll again.
  5. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and chill for 15 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Slice the chilled pastry into 1cm strips and dip each edge into the remaining sugar before placing on a lined baking tray.
  8. Bake for about 14 minutes until caramelized, then flip and bake for an additional 4 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool on a rack lined with parchment paper.
