  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chilies
  • 1 (15-ounce) can nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 (5.6-ounce) package Knorr® Mexican rice
  • 3 cups Colby jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 (3.5-ounce) package Santa Fe-style tortilla strips
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10 large flour tortillas, burrito size

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onion with seasonings until browned. Add garlic and green chilies; cook for another 2 minutes.
  2. Drain excess grease. Return mixture to pan, add taco seasoning and water; simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare rice according to package instructions and warm nacho cheese sauce in a small saucepan.
  4. Warm tortillas until pliable. Layer each tortilla with beef mixture, nacho cheese, rice, shredded cheese, sour cream, and tortilla strips.
  5. Roll tightly into burritos and grill on a hot skillet for added crispiness if desired.
