  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves (2 minced for the sauce, 2 whole for flavoring)
  • 3 tsp Cajun seasoning (divided)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steak with olive oil, salt, pepper, and 2 tsp of Cajun seasoning; let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let it rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute), then add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  4. Whisk in Parmesan cheese, remaining Cajun seasoning, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  5. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and toss with the sauce.
  6. Plate the pasta topped with sliced steak and garnish with parsley.
