  • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 tub (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 heaping cup small marshmallows
  • More than ½ cup finely chopped walnuts (reserve 2 tablespoons for garnish)
  • Slightly over ¼ cup tiny chocolate bits (reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish)
  • 2 fresh bananas, cut into rounds
  • 2 jars (10 ounces each) maraschino cherries, halved and dried

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the banana pudding mix with crushed pineapple until thickened.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully blended.
  3. Carefully mix in marshmallows, walnuts, chocolate bits, banana rounds, and halved cherries.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 60 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, garnish with reserved walnuts and chocolate bits.
