  • 8 mini croissants
  • 4 slices smoked cheddar cheese (halved)
  • 3/4 pound deli-cut ham
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg white (for egg wash)
  • Poppy seeds (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice each croissant horizontally and layer with half a slice of cheese, ham, and another half slice of cheese. Close the croissant.
  3. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, mustard, honey, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  4. Spread the mixture inside each assembled croissant.
  5. Place all sandwiches in the greased baking dish.
  6. Whisk the egg white with a splash of water; brush this on top of each croissant and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
